It's been pretty good so far.reviewed on: 08/19/2014 by Jolene
It's very clean, and the staff is friendly. I feel like we got a little oversold. I thought she would get a little more care for what she pays. Her pager has not worked properly in a month, the responsiveness could be a little better. There are a lot of activities, but they are very simplistic, more stimulating activities would be nice. The food is okay, but she says they give her too much, but the food is good. I think just having a little more information up front. We were under the impression that they had bus service all the time, and it's only a couple of times of day. She says there isn't enough staff especially at night.
They listen to familiesreviewed on: 08/09/2013 by Vicki
They have a new executive director who has been completing some upgrades to the community. They seem more expensive then other community but for everything they provide and quality of the community it is worth the money. They are very customer oriented. They realize that the family is going through this just as much as the resident. They also realize the families are the ones that know the residents and will listen to them and their input.
Everyone was very nice. They are in a middle of renovating the building so I didn't get to see the finished outcome. The studio seemed much smaller than the studio at Sunrise Northgate. Issues: not sure I like the idea of 3 floors - worried if mom gets the 3rd floor that she would have trouble figuring out which floor she needs to go to. I can just see her getting upset if she is on the 1st floor and wants to go to the 3rd floor, gets off on the 2nd floor and can't find her room. Also, when the renovation is complete - there will be 64 residents. Not sure mom would get the attention that she needs.
need more stimulating activitiesreviewed on: 11/09/2014 by Anonymous
They need to bring in more outside entertainment (lectures, that sort of thing). Everything for activities is in house, and not very stimulating. They have movies that are not well attended, for example. They communicate incredibly well and take very good care of the residents. They seem very concerned, no neglect, very attentive, etc. It's a rather small facility and I feel they can create a better environment for people to exercise and get some intellectual stimulation.

Very nice facility, do I need to look any further? :) i loved the rooms, even though it is shared my mom would have her own bedroom with a door. It has more activities than other places and a warm inviting feel. Furnishings were included and were VERY nice, had a hotel feel

Our first choice, by far, but our sister prefers to stay in her own home a little while longer and since she is in no immediate danger we will honor her wishes.
Not A Fit For Momreviewed on: 06/08/2016 by Anonymous
I took a tour of this community and I really liked everything that is here. The staff were informative and wonderful through my tour. I didn't see activities happening at the time and didn't try any food. The only thing that stopped us from choosing this community is the dark colors that are through the community. It does not help my mother's condition.
Devoted Staffreviewed on: 07/27/2015 by Anonymous
The staff is very devoted and very cooperative and they seem very experienced. The facilities are fine. I know the kitchen is a little small, but they have plans to expand it. The food is excellent. Overall I am really pleased in having my wife there.
