Dementia-specific activities focused on matching colors and shapes. Male-specific activities that focuses on tinkering, building and fixing items. We use activities with a physical component: hand-eye coordination drills, bags/ball toss, indoor walk-a-thons, stretching, and stationary biking. We try to incorporate outdoor time as much as possible: walking on our 15 acres and gardening in our raised plant beds. Utilization of technology (when appropriate): XBox Connect, Nintendo Wii, and Lumosity Software. -
