We develop individualized care plans for all our residents by working with families on a Resident Life Story that provides intimate details of their loved-ones past and current reality. This knowledge allows caregivers to engage residents in routines and activities that are meaningful to them. The results are wonderful, residents are engaged in the community, feel successful and become part of the family quickly. Our ?Main Street" is a focal point in the community where families and residents gather to enjoy events, activities or a simple stroll down town. Residents can take in a movie at the theater or go to the full service beauty and barber shop. Afterward, they can enjoy a sweet treat in Paula?s Sweet Shop. We have sing alongs and listen to music in the Music Hall, which has a beautiful baby grand piano. The entire community is designed to allow our residents freedom to experience many different areas and activities. Inside our neighborhoods we continue engage residents in individualized activities, whether it?s a game of cards, doing artwork, reminiscing or just enjoying a conversation.
